I wanna go home

Published by dzanang at 1:09 am under reflection Edit This

Reading the news lately made me so much homesick. The recent missile test-fires by Iran which include Shahab-3 that was allegedly said could reach Israel really bothers me. I wonder how many million dollars Iran had to spend to create those missiles to target their enemies. And I also wonder how much they allocate for improving the lives of their people.

I know Iran is not the only country doing this. Countries across the globe spend so much on their defense sometimes to the neglect of their people’s most basic needs like food and shelter.

Why do they do this? Protecting their territory. Why do they need to protect their territories? Because of the never-ending dispute over lands. We could go back to the Bible to know where and why it started.

I’m just wondering, can we not all live in peace harmoniously? Forget about territorial boundaries and be contented with what everyone has got. But it is impossible.

This is why I get homesick. I know this world is not getting any better but I am looking forward to that day when this world becomes a paradise again. No more land disputes, no cultural boundaries, no more wars, no more sicknesses, no more sadness. Everything is restored to its perfect state.

I’m homesick for heaven, seems I cannot wait
Yearning to enter Zion’s pearly gate
Never a heartache, never a tear
I long for my home over there.

Even so, Lord Jesus, come. Revelations 22:20

Those are the signs of the times..those are signs of His second coming..I even heard a sermon from Phils. that Sunday Law will be proclaim on 2010 in US..Sufferings and death is the curse given to man because of disobedience..He gave us free will to choose to stay here or go home with Him..Listen to the song “No More Night” no more night,no more pain,no more tear,no more tear, never crying again..what a comforting and appealing song to our weary hearts! Take heed! He will fulfill His promise! He’s coming again!
