Shortly after God created man the devil started to destroy them right away. By tempting them to eat of the forbidden fruit, Satan sought to thwart God’s perfect plan for creating human beings–to repopulate the heaven. But God had already devised a plan to redeem the fallen creature and it was announced in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 3:15

“And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
he will crush your head,
and you will strike his heel.”

Right from the start, God’s plan was to redeem us and to destroy Satan. However, to make man feel the gravity of sin God allowed man to see the deadly result of it. When Adam took an animal to kill and use its skin to clothe him it showed that sin is a powerful destroyer.

But man is not to lose heart because God will atone for them.
