Are we robots
Sometimes I feel that I am too powerless, that a superior element is always in charge and he always does things the way he wants. Sometimes or oftentimes I hear people say, “This is God’s will and there is nothing we can do or could have done to alter events because it’s what God wants to happen”. And I think to myself, “Are we robots then?”
But we have so much freedom. We even have the right to do wrong and we see lots of crime happening every day. If we are robots surely God will not let all these unpleasant things to happen. Oops sorry I didn’t mean to say that God is to blame for all these things. But it’s the truth. When something bad occurs people try to blame God for letting it happen instead of charging at the devil who delights in making people suffer.
God is a god of love and He does want His creatures to suffer. But the prince of darkness has taken control of this world and is doing all his might to make people miserable. Because the devil knows that we humans have a Blessed Hope while is doomed and he wants us to share in his suffering.
1 Peter 5:8 Be clear-minded and alert. Your opponent, the devil, is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
