Another classic Bible verse that has become so popular even to kids is John 3:16. Using the King James Version, here’s how I remember it “For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

God’s love for his people is the greatest. The cross magnified his ultimate love when Jesus gave his life as a ransom to many. We all sinned because of one man and we are all saved because of one man.

Christ’s death on the cross was the most agonizing one because he was carrying the weight of the world. All of our sins are placed upon him and he suffered more on the burden of sin than the mere physical pain inflicted on him.

But he did it because of love.
