800 atheist buses, would you like to ride in it?

Published by dzanang at 8:45 pm under reflection Edit This

800 buses carrying an atheist slogan “There’s probably no God, Now stop worrying and enjoy life! have just started hitting the streets in London and across England.

Campaigners are very excited about this and now they feel that finally their voice is heard loud and clear.

It is very saddening to hear or read news like this. Surely, the enemy is doing all his best to gain ground against the truth.

Their slogan implies that people are worried about the existence of God. I think one reason why they are worried is because too many professed Christians have misrepresented God and delivered a twisted truth. They say, “If you don’t believe in God, you will go to hell.” I have not only read people talk about it. I have practically met people who were opposed to Christians because of this message.

Also whenever tragedies strike people tend to blame God for allowing such things to happen to people. But we must tell them that if God is not there, it could be worse.

I guess it would feel strange and scary to ride on those bus…buses with no angels watching over? oh my!any accident will happen anytime! How could those bus owners and drivers dare to do that? what’s on their stupid mind? Perhaps they demons-possesed?uh-oh! Perhaps they never believed or read the Bible?
It could be on the way they grew-up or brought out to this world?
It’s one of the Signs of the Times I’m sure…

If there is a god, do you really think he/she/it cares if people believe? Wouldn’t a god have more important things to worry about? And for that matter, why should people be so wrapped up in what others believe or don’t? Believe what you want to believe and leave other people alone! If more religious people did that, I don’t think the atheists would feel such a need to get in people’s faces about it.

Ah yes. Woe to the forces of tolerance and difference of opinion! May the diverse be smote! Lo, for the agents of progress and freedom approach! Those who would live a life unencumbered by dogmatic principles which alienate them from their fellow man! Those who would seek to serve and protect their bipedal counterparts not because they fear postmortem retribution, nor seek postmortem reward, but because they recognize, and celebrate, that which binds us together as people!

Any accident will happen anytime? Isn’t that true of any place, anywhere in the world? Atheists aren’t the only ones vulnerable. Christian people die all of the time.

And it is very ignorant to characterize all Atheists as having grown up wrong. Evil exists in every corner of the planet. Must I bring up cases of priests - annointed men of God - using their positions as platforms to molest children? Is that supposed to make me want to devote myself to the teachings of the bible?
